Assistant Thrift Store Manager

Sheridan, Wyoming


Scope of Position:

The Assistant Store Manager will provide assistance to the Store Manager for all general functions of the store operations. Assists with the orientation, training, scheduling and management of store employees and volunteers. Assists with accurate and appropriate
handling of store income including balancing, depositing and reporting according to established Salvation Army policies and procedures. Provides assistance with activities related to the safety of the store, its contents, employees, volunteers and patrons.
Works with the Store Manager and Corps Officers to establish production and income goals as well as meeting those set expectations

This is a part time, non-exempt position.



Requirements
Position Qualifications:

? Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

? Minimum of two years' direct retail sales experience, one year of direct retail store management experience

? Basic mathematical skills

? Ability to supervise and direct employees and volunteers within the store setting

? Able to work independently or as a member of a larger

? Ability to address multiple complex tasks simultaneously

? English proficiency
